Pour-over coffee is very dependent on the skill of the brewers and by their nature introduces many variables to brewed coffee. Everyone has their own coffee ritual and the flow rate of each pour allows brewers to produce coffee that is tailor-made and unique.

Water temperature: 88 – 90°C

Coffee grind size: Medium

Coffee to Water ratio: 1:12

What you will need:
- A dripper
- Filter paper
- A ‘gooseneck’ pour over kettle
- A grinder
- A timer

How-to-do:

  1. Pour water at the centre of the dripper and move evenly in concentric circles over the coffee grounds and let them soak it up. Waiting for 10 seconds to allow the grounds to ‘bloom’.
  2. Pour the rest of the water and move in concentric circles from the centre outward. Keep a slow and even pour.
  3. Keep pouring until your desired brew weight.
  4. Remove the dripper from the pot.
