Dripper Dynamics: Shaping Coffee Flavor Profiles
Location: Infuse by Ideaology
(G/F, K11 Atelier, 18 Salisbury Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui)
This pour-over class will focus on how the designs of three common drippers—V60, Origami, and Kalita Wave—impact coffee flavor. Participants can choose their preferred dripper to brew three coffee beans processed with different methods, including washed, natural, and anaerobic/special processing. Together, we will explore the characteristics that conical and flat-bottom drippers bring out in different coffees, experiencing the subtle differences in acidity, sweetness, flavor, and mouthfeel.
Participants are welcome to bring their own dripper (limited to the three models mentioned above, any material is accepted). If you do not have one, extra V60 and Kalita Wave drippers will be available on-site.
